On Monday, March 26, 2012, former Chief of General Staff, Maj. Gen. (res) Gabi Ashkenazi, accompanied by Rashi Foundation CEO Mr. Eli Elalouf, Darca Network chairman Mr. Jimmy Pinto, and Darca Network CEO Dr. Gil Pereg, visited Darca Danziger school and Yeshivatit Darca Hamatmid in Kiryat Shmona. Ashkenazi, who has recently been appointed Chairman of the Rashi Foundation, visited the schools in the capacity of his new position.
