The volleyball team from Darca New High School in Bat Yam beat the team from Kiryat Ata 2:0 in the National Volleyball Championship Semifinals and was awarded a slot in the Premier League for next year.
The semi-finals were held in Mateh Asher in the Western Galilee, and lasted for two days during which the students from Darca Bat Yam defeated the teams from Gilo Jerusalem (2:1), Sachnin (2:0), and Sha’ar Hanegev (2:0).
Kudos to the team’s young coach Kfir Shiriki and veteran club coordinator – Guy Blich.
Congratulations are due to the team’s players, including the stars of the game – Ben Goldstein, Yoav Glass, Adi Glass, Daniel Volofik, Miki Michaeli, Kobi Mashiach and Haim Elbochar.
