Students of the Naveh class are mobilizing to assist hundreds of thousands of survivors in the Philippines

A new initiative by Beit Hachinuch Geon Hayarden Darca: Students of the Naveh class are mobilizing to assist hundreds of thousands of survivors in the Philippines on the heels of the heavy damage caused by the recent typhoon. The students turned to the residents of Emek Hamaayanot in an emotional appeal and called upon them to donate clothing, food, blankets, pillows and additional equipment. The equipment gathered will be transferred to the Philippine Embassy in Israel, which shall transfer it to the survivors of the disaster. Taking part in the initiative as well are the president of the Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Ran Cohen, chairman of the Israel-Philippines/Singapore/Malaysia Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Ron Doron, as well as the CEO of the Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Natasha Salavchesky.
