The 22 nd delegation of the Darca High School named for in memory of Menachem Begin in Gedera returned to Israel after eight days of a moving trek to Polandin memory of to commemorate the Holocaust. During the trip the students visited the Podgorze Ghetto and the Schindler Factory, met with the Righteous Among the Nations, took part in the “Every Person Has a Name” ceremony, and toured Auschwitz, Birkenau and other camps. This year the students’ friends and family members were able to participate in the trek by means of a special internet website where pictures and videos were uploaded every day, and by means of which the students could correspond with their loved ones and share the experiences of the important trip and exceptional experience with them.
